IndiGo Airbus A320 passenger jets land in Cotswolds

An Airbus A320 from IndiGo touch ed down at Cotswold Airport in Kemble Another two passenger plane have arrived in the Cotswolds for storage as the aviation industry continues to struggle in the wake of the global pandemic. An Airbus A320 from IndiGo touched down at Cotswold Airport in Kemble on Tuesday afternoon, having flown in from Delhi via Baku. It followed the arrival of a similar aircraft run by Avion Express / Sky Angkor which landed just ann hour before at the small airport which straddles the Gloucestershire/ Wiltshire border just outside Cirencester. The French plane took off from Chateauroux and came in over the Cotswold Water Park and Cirencester before landing at Kemble. The IndiGo plane followed a similar route, heading in over Fairford and Lechlade before landing. The Airbus pair join a number of other large passenger jets currently being stored at Cotswold Airport including three British Airways Boeing 747s. Boom Supersonic to introduce XB-1 supersonic demonstrator on October 7

Boom Supersonic, a Denver-based aerospace company, has announced that XB-1, its supersonic demonstrator, is scheduled to roll out on October 7, 2020, the company said. XB-1 is the world's first independently developed supersonic jet and will demonstrate key technologies for Overture, Boom's commercial airliner, such as advanced carbon fiber composite construction, computer-optimized high-efficiency aerodynamics, and an efficient supersonic propulsion system.
